Gunn-Mowery Acquires Community Banks Insurance Services |
Lemoyne, PA - Gunn-Mowery announces the acquisition from Susquehanna Bancshares Inc. of the assets of Community Banks Insurance Services and its previously acquired insurance agencies. Included in the acquisition are the assets of Schultz Insurance in Hanover; Hutter Insurance in Mechanicsburg; Dillsburg Insurance in Dillsburg, and Wiley Insurance in Mount Joy.
“This acquisition adds 16 employees and offices in Mt. Joy and Dillsburg. It positions us as a dominant force in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, York, and Adams Counties and is an integral part of our growth plan,” said G. The acquisition closed on August 1, 2008. The combined firm manages $60,000,000 of insurance premiums, $7,000,000 in annual revenues, and includes 58 employees providing superior customer service and expertise from three regional offices.
