Senior Risk Control Consultant

With more than 20 years of experience in the safety and risk management field, Rick brings extensive industry knowledge and a passion for helping organizations create safer workplaces.

He began his career in the printing industry as a Department Safety Coordinator in the catalog division. As the industry evolved from print to digital media, he successfully transitioned into the construction sector, taking on a role as a Site Safety Representative on a major bridge replacement project along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

His dedication and expertise led to a promotion to Safety Director, overseeing safety operations for the Heavy Highway/Bridge and Commercial Site divisions. After spending 11 years in construction safety, he expanded his professional experience by joining a workers’ compensation insurance carrier as a Loss Control Consultant, where he spent eight years helping clients improve workplace safety and reduce risk. He later advanced into a Senior Risk Management Advisor role with a national insurance brokerage, further strengthening his expertise in risk management and client advisory services.

Outside of work, he has been married to his wife, Caryn, for 24 years. Together they have two sons, Connor and Zach. Connor is a graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and works as an electrician for a residential contractor. Zach is pursuing a nursing degree at Saint Joseph’s University – Lancaster Campus while working as a Patient Care Assistant at Lancaster General Hospital.

In his free time, he enjoys family trips to the beach, spending time with good friends, and relaxing with family by the pool.
